There is something wrong with your macs settings which gives error to AE which tries to use that language setting for it’s own reasons like scripting, codes, timecodes, rand’s, and so on.Ĭyzer, that was my first thought. You need to solve it not inside AE but inside MAC, you should either reinstall MAC’s something (have no AT ALL experience with mac’s - I hate apple production), you should restart or recalibrate macs regional settings. You havent solved a problem because you look into wrong spot. I am sure it is refering to your MAC’s language database, like region, like fonts, symbols and everything what is connected to international usability of After Effects. It clearly states the problem Unable to obtain the User ‘Language’ registry key at: Software\Adobe\After Effects\10.5.1\Defaulting to ‘en_US’ Well, let me say something to you adobe, if you expect to make profit in the future, you will have to change your system of working, otherwise someone will crush you.Īnyway, sorry for my fury, if anyone is keen to help, I would really be more than thankful! Thank you guys in advance. A sea of bugs and speed issues they have and worst of all is the support which gives generic answers just to get rid of you. They just cannot make their software use full potential of hardware. Especially with CS6 and CC having a lot of issues regarding speed. Regarding Adobe, a lot of people lately are very disappointed at them, as well as me. I am a bit desperate here, because adobe doesn’t want or can’t solve my problems. I have try to disable OpenGL too, because sometimes it can cause these problems, but with no luck. Generatic crash log, which may take a few minutes. Unable to obtain the User ‘Language’ registry key at: Software\Adobe\After Effects\10.5.1\Defaulting to ‘en_US’. This is the error I get the most when AE crashes. All the scripts that I’m using on regular basis I’ve also used on PC and never ever had this problems the ones I use the most are RepositionAnchorPoint, True Comp Duplicator, Ease and Wizz, BG Renderer… They are also up to date. Now, what I found out by myself, is that when I dock some scripts into UI panel and make custom workspace, that AE crashes. Everything, including AE and my OSX is up to date. Even without using any plugins, AE crashes. Last crash that I had was on Camera Tracker plug in from foundry, but I had crashes from videocopilot’s plugins and some other. Where I use some third party plug-in, or dockable script in UI panel. So, the problem is that my after effects is randomly crashing. Last (but not least) resort is here on vh. Posted a thread on adobe forum page, but nothing… no help in solving my problem. Contacted adobe support numerous times, of course, they didn’t help me. Since I bought my new Mac Pro, couple of moths ago, I just cannot set my After Effects to work.
